Android 4. ICS run to Galaxy S I9000

 Galaxy S I9000 Receives ICS Pre-Alpha Bliss
All good things must come to an end, and that is life. However, we at XDA-Developers do our absolute best that our expensive devices do not fall under this category. We continuously strive to prolong and extend the shelf life of phones by adding features, apps, themes, and most importantly, by reverse engineering the daylights out of them so that they can run newer OSes unsupported by the manufacturers. Having said this, if you have an original Galaxy S (i9000), then today is your lucky day because XDA Forum Member dhiru1602 has successfully ported ICS onto this forgotten beast.
The port itself was taken directly from another port meant for the Nexus S 4G and it is currently in pre-alpha state, which means that you will likely not be rocking most features right off the bat. In fact, it probably means that at this point it is a pretty device to play with but not to use on a daily basis. Essentially, the device has no data capabilities at this point, which is likely the biggest thing, as well as no camera, or video playback. Having said that, for a pre-alpha state, this does have several things working which you would normally not see on similar level releases such as being able to make calls

  Samsung Wave 3 GT-S8600 Unbrick – Boot repair supported, World First !  !  !

Resurrecting Samsung S8600 is easy. Phone is auto powered on with USB Data Cable connected to the PC while battery is connected.
Please note, MSM8255T is dual core chipset – it has ARM11 and Qualcomm Scorpion cores. During power on sequence only ARM11 core is visible on the JTAG chain. If boots are not completely damaged and it comes up to initializing of the Scorpion core then Scorpion core appears on the JTAG chain too. This will shift ARM11 from TAP0 into TAP1 position on the chain, while current resurrector has the ARM11 core hardcoded at TAP0 position. Thus make sure to establish JTAG connection in the time range while Scorpion core is not visible yet.

Unlock iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11.08 And All Other iPhones Locked

Unlock iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11.08 And All Other iPhones Locked On AT&T While You Can

you can get your iPhone unlocked on any baseband from by requesting your carrier. AT&T don’t usually offer unlocking services for their locked iPhones, but it seems like we have a factory unlock window now.

Those of you who have locked iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (4.11.08) or iPhone 4S can get your iPhone unlocked from AT&T. Now this window is really small because AT&T don’t always offer unlocking solution for iPhone even today it is not being offered by AT&T themselves but a third party website is taking orders for iPhone unlock. Famous iOS hacker and creator of Sn0wbreeze iH8Sn0w also tweeted about it that CutYourSim can unlock your AT&T locked iPhone 4S. Remember that this solution is only available for American iPhones which are locked on AT&T. Every iPhone including iPhone 4 with baseband including 4.11.08 can be factory unlocked now.

We are proud to offer a permanent unlock solution for your AT&T iPhone. Having your iPhone remotely unlocked will allow you to use your iPhone on any GSM carrier. All you need to do is choose the carrier your iPhone is LOCKED to, provide us with your IMEI number, and purchase this service. We will then permanently unlock your iPhone remotely (usually 5-15 business days. This service works for all AT&T iPhones, the 3G, 3GS, 4, and 4S

This is going to be a permanent unlock for your iPhone, the working of this solution is really simple carrier officials contact Apple and send them your iPhone’s IMEI. Upon receiving your iPhone IMEI Apple removes it from their locked iPhones database and the next time you connect your iPhone with iTunes it gives you a “iPhone unlock success” message.
The only drawback of this unlocking solution is that it will cost you a lot when compared to a free Ultrasn0w unlock and a $50 Gevey SIM unlock. But still it’s a solution for people who prefer factory unlocked devices.
You can order this unlock for
$184.99
from here.
The new price of this unlocking solution is $199.99

Apple To Launch 8GB iPad 2 Alongside 16 GB And 32GB iPad 3 On March 7th

Apple has confirmed their iPad 3 launch event on March 7th at Yerba Beuna Center of Arts in San Francisco and the reports regarding upcoming iPad 3 are not stopping at all. It seems like Apple is planning to follow their trend with iPads as well, Digitimes is now reporting  that Apple is planning to launch an 8GB version of iPad 2 alongside iPad 3 on March 7th. Apple didn’t introduce an 8GB iPad 1 when they launched iPad 2, however, they did introduce 8GB iPhone 4 when they launched iPhone 4S in October last year. Apple discontinued iPhone 4′s 16GB and 32GB model and only offered a smaller 8GB model for low-end customers.
The report also claims that Apple would launch only two models (16GB and 32GB) of iPad 3 in their media event next week. This report contradicts some previous rumors and reports which claimed that it is possible that Apple may introduce a 128GB version of iPad 3 alongside 16GB and 3GB iPad 3 this year.ac

As Apple has scheduled an event on March 7, sources from its upstream supply chain pointed out that the company is expected to launch two iPad 3 models – a 16GB version and 32GB version.
In addition to iPad 3, Apple is also expected to unveil an 8GB iPad 2, allowing the tablet PC series to cover different segments and to defend against Windows 8-based tablet PCs, the sources noted.

Eliminating 64GB version of iPad 3 won’t be a great move at all because 64GB variant of iPad 2 did really well in the market. Previous reports have confirmed that Apple would offer iPad 3 in 3 different storage capacities. However, an 8GB version of iPad 2 sounds like a good plan, we’ve not seen any report or rumor regarding 8GB iPad 2. A common belief is that Apple would cut the price of 16GB iPad 2 WiFi version to $399 for low-end customers after iPad 3 launch.

Digitimes has a very shaky “hit or miss” credibility record when it comes to Apple related reports and rumors so it’s really hard to put a weight on this report.

Here’s what you can expect from iPad 3 on March 7th:

    A 2048×1536 high resolution display
    Faster quad-core A5X/A6 processor
    Up to 3x faster graphics
    Same 10 hour battery life
    New apps
Better 5/8 Megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front face camera for FaceTime
    Slightly thicker outer shell
