Introducing Native SDK 2.0 for BlackBerry Tablet OS

Developer are invit here , Rim out that for you .

We at RIM are extremely proud to announce that the BlackBerry® Native SDK for BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0 is out of beta and now available for download! Based on requests from our developer community, we have been focusing on improving the user experience and providing a consistent environment with comprehensive APIs, resources and documentation.

Let’s take a look at some of the IDE enhancements:
  • The EGit plugin allows developers to check out source code directly from GitHub via the IDE.
  • A new easy-to-use wizard, Add Library Dependency, simplifies the process of adding library dependencies to a project.
  • With per-project SDK support, you can now configure your SDK/toolchain on a per-project basis. This allows you to have projects in your workspace build against different versions of the device.
  • A streamlined deployment setup wizard makes it easier for you to set up your development environment and troubleshoot issues. The wizard also leverages automatic device detection to help you set up your targets.
  • You can now report bugs directly from the IDE. Select ‘Report a Bug’ from the Help menu in the IDE to report a bug and include screenshots, directly from the IDE.
  • You can now filter files out of the BAR package to exclude unnecessary assets.
  • BAR files in the Project Explorer can now be expanded to show contents. Files in the BAR can be opened (read-only) in the appropriate editor.
  • The Import wizard has a new option, ‘BlackBerry Tablet OS Existing Code as BlackBerry Tablet OS C/C++ Makefile Project,’ to import existing code.
  • The BAR file editor now allows viewing of localized manifests for each locale.
  • Two new profiles, QNX Developer and C/C++ Developer (CDT), allow you to control access to functionality depending on developer type.
  • AIR Native Extension Support, which includes new workflows has been added to the IDE to help you build and debug native extensions. This includes an ANE project type that works with the Adobe command line tools to generate ANEs. In addition, the new ANE launch configurations help you debug your ANE on the device.
  • Access to more example projects using the New Example wizard.
The BPS (BlackBerry Platform Services) APIs have evolved too, now including more features and several enhancements:
  • Sensor: many sensors are available, for example: accelerometer, magnetometer, temperature, luminance, etc.
  • Device Information: functions for reading information like OS version, PIN, serial number etc.
  • Soundplayer: several functions to play system sounds (like camera shutter, device lock etc).
  • LED service: control of the LEDs and colors to notify users even if the device isn’t being used.
  • Audio Mixer API: enables your application to react to events (headphone connected/disconnected, mute, etc) and also control audio properties. Also new input and output channels are available.
And also, highlights on Scoreloop! The addition of the Scoreloop SDK offers game developers next-generation technology for mobile social gaming features: achievements, challenges, user profiles, leaderboards, awards and more. The social features are modular so you can integrate only the ones you want, while maintaining your app’s look and feel.
You can get start at the Native SDK webpage, in the download section. Also take a look at:
  • Documentation – in the documentation section, you will find a great source of information about tutorials, recipes, guides and a great directory of open source libraries ported and available on github.
  • Forums – in the Native SDK forums, you can discuss support topics, learn from the community and interact directly with us.
So, are you ready? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Social gaming comes to BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 – Scoreloop SDK 1.0 now available

We are excited to announce the launch of the Scoreloop™ SDK 1.0 for BlackBerry® Native SDK for PlayBook OS. We have received a tremendous amount of feedback from you, our developer community, since the launch of the Scoreloop SDK Beta for the BlackBerry Native SDK for Tablet OS at BlackBerry DevCon Americas last October. Now we’re gold and can offer access to the best set of social features for native games on BlackBerry PlayBook OS.
Scoreloop is the leading cross-platform social gaming ecosystem with over 120 million users, offering developers a fully-flexible set of tools to power their games with social gaming features including Leaderboards, Achievements, Player Challenges and Player Profiles. The SDK is fully customizable, allowing developers to choose as few or as many features as they want and build them seamlessly into the look and feel of the game.

During the beta, we worked with Paw Print Games Ltd. to integrate Scoreloop into their awesome title KAMI RETRO HD. “Our experience integrating Scoreloop features into KAMI RETRO HD on the BlackBerry PlayBook has been seamless,” explains Steven Craft, Director of Paw Print Games. “We have integrated the main features such as leaderboards and awards. These social additions add a layer of fun and connections for our users. Our next title, Wacky Rapids, due April 2012 on PlayBook will follow in KAMI RETRO HD’s footsteps with Scoreloop integration.”

Root for Optimus 3D V20x Gingerbread

a method that will root those LG Optimus 3Ds that lost root when they were updated to Gingerbread. Unfortunately, it only works for the V20x firmwares, so if you’re running V21 or later, you may be out of luck for the time being. For those who are on V20x, you simply plug in your phone with charge only and USB Debugging on and run the run.bat file. Because it’s a .bat, that means it’s only compatible with Windows PC at this time. V21 or later version  owners should wait for a little again .

RIFF JTAG – Samsung GT-P6800 Galaxy Tab 7.7 Unbrick – Boot repair supported, World First !

Samsung GT-P6800 Galaxy Tab 7.7 Unbrick – Boot repair supported, World First !
Samsung P6800 is based on the Exynos Processor (Cortex-A9 Dual-Core). JTAG pads are very small; professional experience in soldering is required to connect wires to the JTAG interface.
Note, one simple way to connect over JTAG – connect USB cable to PC and insert battery. In this case phone is automatically powered on.
To resurrect Samsung P6800:
  •  Solder JTAG cable to Samsung P6800 JTAG pads;
  •  Connect USB cable to phone and PC;
  •  Insert battery;
  •  Make sure Samsung P6800 is selected in the list of models;
  •  Make sure a fixed TCK frequency is selected;
  •  Click Resurrect button;
  •  Wait till software signals a successful operation completion;
  •  Disconnect USB cable, de-solder JTAG wires;
Now phone is in bootable condition, that is, even if it does not start up normally, you can flash it using original Samsung downloader software to restore it to the working state.
To enter download mode:
  •  Disconnect PC cable;
  •  Insert battery;
  •  Hold both ‘Volume Down’ and ‘Home’ keys and press Power-On.

Fix the Samsung Galaxy Fit GT 5670 ClockworkMod MD5 Mismatch Woes

There are a number of reasons why a MD5 checksum in ClockworkMod Recovery might fail. Flashing different versions of the recovery can do it, flashing custom versions of the recovery can do it, or attempting to restore a Nandroid from an old phone to a replacement can do it. Sometimes, there is a need to change the MD5 checksum to make a Nandroid work again.
XDA Junior Member arhant has shared a method that makes it pretty easy to alter the checksum of a Nandroid backup so that it matches the Nandroid backup key stored in ClockworkMod Recovery for the Samsung Galaxy Fit GT5670
The method is, as mentioned, pretty simple and involves using a couple of programs to change the checksum so that it works in recovery. Users simply need a program called MD5 calculator and Notepad++. Some users may be tempted to use regular Notepad in Windows, but Notepad++ doesn’t add any codecs to the text which will prevent any compatibility problems. Once completed, the Nandroid will no longer fail checksum errors and flash as normal.
It should be noted that a bad checksum can be caused by a corrupt backup. Flashing corrupt backups can cause some serious damage to the device, including bricking it. With this in mind, exercise the utmost caution when bypassing MD5 protection. If this looks like the fix you’ve been looking for, you can find the full method and discussion in the original thread

Root the Galaxy Note Without Increasing the Flash Counter

Those with newer Samsung devices, notably the Galaxy S lineup, are most likely familiar with the flash counter. For the uninitiated, the flash counter keeps track of how many times you have flashed a kernel over Odin. It’s Samsung’s way of keeping track of who’s flashing things on their devices, and who isn’t. Previously, we covered a method for rooting the Galaxy Note developed by XDA Senior Moderator and Recognized Developer Da_G. However, using this method unfortunately raises your flash counter.
Understandably, many users would prefer to flash without raising their flash count. To that end, XDA Senior Member mashi has posted an Odin-flashable root method for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note that does not increase the flash counter. Da_G explains it best:
This is a pre-rooted /system image, in the form of system.img.ext4 inside of a pda.tar to be flashed via odin.
Both ways result in a permanently rooted system partition, just this way flashes it directly, leaving the stock kernel intact, whereas my method flashes a modified kernel which then roots the /system partition via a script.
While the link in the original post is broken, XDA Forum Member capite mirrored it, and Da_G once again demonstrated his talents byposting a workaround for people who could only get a hold of the stock, unrooted tar.
Once you’ve gotten ahold of the .tar file, simply flash it via Odin, as usual. For those who want to root their Galaxy Notes without increasing their flash counters, you can find the download link in the original thread. Alternatively, Da_G’s method and capite’s download links are both on page 4. Happy Flashing!

New Permanent Root Method for Transformer

New root methods are always good. Often when such a method is released, it offers some basic functionality increase over prior methods. Perhaps it simply streamlines the process so that less tech savvy users can get a piece of root action. Other times, however, it’s just to root an OTA that wasn’t rooted prior to release.

XDA Senior Member rhcp0112345 has posted a root method for the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update on the Asus Eee Pad Transformer so that those rocking the 4.0 can still get their Superuser permissions.

The new method is in the form of a tar file that is compatible with Mac and Linux versions only, but was adapted for Windows by XDA Junior Member chan32167 for all users to enjoy. The method itself is pretty simple. For the Windows versions, simply unzip and execute the run.bat file inside. For the Mac and Linux versions, it’s a little bit more complicated.

When you untar the file. Please make sure to edit the runme.sh it has a path for adb that you need to fix. Other then that it will work.

You just chmod 755 runme.sh and run it

If you’re running ICS on your Transformer and are looking for an alternative root method, head over to the original thread. As usual, exercise caution and make sure you know what you’re doing before getting started.

Samsung Galaxy S and SII Unlock Code Generator 1.0
works only for older models of the Samsung Galaxy S II I9100, as some users report the method not working with hardware versions 1.4 or beyond. The older version of the tool will work for users carrying a Samsung Galaxy S I9000.

Development for the tool is moving forward as the tool creators are attempting to make it compatible with later hardware versions of the Samsung Galaxy S II, so if it doesn’t work for you, keep an eye out in case a fix is finally found. RIFF JTAG Manager v1.39 Released !

25.02.2012    JTAG Manager 1.39 released

Whats new:

Fixed bug which caused poping-up of ‘Out of Free Disk space’ window error while real error was just a failed HASH.
eMMC chip size is now represented not only in bytes but additionally, for visual convenience, in Mega/Giga bytes
Addres/Length fields on DCC Read/Write and JTAG Read/Write pages are changed into custom GUI representation:   now 12(or 8)-digit hex values are shown in more human ‘readable’ way.
For more convenient work with the DCC Read/Write page features there was added standard lengths list, so user can set ‘human readable’ length value instead of manual typing of correct hexadecimal length value. For this just click combo box near Data Length field and select a desired length.

Example:

  • Now its possible to select any value from 1MB to 16GB, plus, in case of writing file, You can simply use “File Size” to automatically read opened file size and use it’s length.
  •  Added balloon hints to suggest what to do in case user has ‘DLL was not Accepted’ issue.
  • Selected resurrector DLL version is shown in logging windows now along with Model name, for example:
    “Selected Resurrector: [NoName x1234 V1.00]“
  •  Added “Search for DLL” button on the Resurrection page:
As RIFFBOX grows up on number of supported devices, searching visually through the big lists of supported models for a definite device name became a tiresome procedure.
Now user can search for required model simply typing part of model name in the search dialog (for this select “Search for DLL for this Model Name” and type some part of device name you’re looking for)
.Besides this, there is feature to search for resurrectors compatible with specific IDCODE. For example, if you have a not supported device in hands with ID = 0xXXXXXXXX, you can search for DLLs which work with such ID and try to connect your device using one of such ‘compatible’ DLLs. (for this select “Search for DLL with same IDCODE” and type IDCODE you’re looking for)

GEVEY 4S UNLOCKER with internal phone menu

UPDATE V8 – 4S unlocker with internal phone menu.

We are happy to announce a new update for
your GEVEY SIM (ALL IN ONE - updatable)

To use the latest update you need to download also

the new Online Update Client version 1.4 from here:

GEVEY_ONLINE_V1_4.zip

GEVEY_ONLINE_V1_4.zip

GEVEY_ONLINE_V1_4.zip

GEVEY_ONLINE_V1_4.zip

GEVEY_ONLINE_V1_4.zip

INFO:

- Now GEVEY has a built in menu.

- Using this menu you programs the code
(MCC & MNC) of your initial iPhone 4S network.

- This way you can use your Gevey with different
iPhone 4S providers without reprogramming
this settings on your computer using GEVEY DONGLE.

- You can find the STK Menu here in
Menu-> Settings-> Phone-> SIM Applications.

- The menu should be compatible with most of the existing simcards
but there are some cards on witch the menu is not working.

- After the “Unlock Menu” title you can see a number like (310410)
this number represents the MCC and MNC with what your
GEVEY is programmed to work.

- The first 3 numbers are the MCC and the last 3 are the MNC.
By default this is AT&T ( MCC: 310 and MNC:410 ).

- This feature is very useful when you need to know for sure
that your GEVEY is correctly configured for your iPhone 4S.

The menu options are:

A. “Enter 112 mode”

- with start the unlocking process

B. “Auto mode”

- Works similar with Update V7,
the menu will appear after you insert the card.

- If “Auto mode” has a star in front of it (“*Auto mode”)
this means Auto mode is active and if you wish you can deactivate it

C. Most used networks

– Will display a list with the most common 15 networks,
so you can easily select them

D. Custom MCC&MNC

– is to be used if your iPhone 4S network is not found in the list of networks.
- the MCC of the network must be 3 characters, the MNC must be also 3 characters
– if your network has only 2 characters MNC then you can add a 0 as the third character

The unlock procedure using UPDATE V8:

1. Update your GEVEY with Update V8.

2. Insert GEVEY ALL IN ONE and your simcard into iPhone 4S.

3. Go to the phone menu and select your network and
then press Enter 112 mode.

4. Wait until you can see a message on your screen.
Select Accept.

5. Wait until you can see the signal bars
(and sometimes the EDGE or 3G).
If the signal bar is not appearing then you can try to manually
select the network and the continue with the next steps.

6. Call 112, or any available emergency number
(if there than 1 call the one that won’t get you fined).

Wait until the call is answered (hopefully by the robot).
You are now connected and go fast to the next step.

7. While connected, take out the SIM.

Wait until the No Simcard message is displayed, press OK and
then put the SIMCARD and GEVEY ALL IN ONE back.

8. Wait until the No SIM message is replaced by
the network signal bars and hang up.

9. Press the call button again and call 112.
Wait until a connection is made then hang up.

- This step is especially important if you want the phone to function 100% correctly.
- Other solutions on the market don’t tell you of this very very important trick

! Alternatively you can wait until the first 112 call closes automatically !

10. Wait few seconds and check if your data connection is also active.
If you have a data connection of course.

IPHONE 4S unlocking DONE !

Unlock iPhone4 Baseband 04.11.08 - Downgrade to 01.59.00

What is the Unlock 04.11.08 baseband iPhone 4 or downgrade to 01.59.00 possibility?
Much of iPhone owners asked this same question about Baseband 04.11.08 unlocking ways .
In other words "After upgrading iPhone 4 to iOS 5 no network problem"  so that all will be clear in this article. As you know that Apple released iOS 5 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on October 12.

Many of iPhone 4 users who are relying on unlock with ultrasn0w or Gevey SIM updated their iPhone 4 to stock iOS 5 ipsw firmware, here's the problem exactly.

Unlock 04.11.08 Baseband - Downgrade to 01.59.00 iPhone 4 Desimlock 04.11.08 Possibility

To avoid it before a trust solution , if it already happened just wait , may be we will get a providence.

When users upgrade iPhone 4 to stock iOS 5, the baseband (modem firmware) is updated to version 4.11.08 which is not supported with the current version of ultrsn0w and also can't be unlocked with the current Gevey SIM models (Standard, pro, ultra and etc.). So in case you upgraded your iPhone 4 to stock iOS 5 you will no longer able to Unlock 04.11.08 ios 5 with ultrasn0w or Gevey SIM.. ( be patient nothing yet )

To do for stay unlockable

is iPhone 4 users who rely on unlock with Gevey SIM or ultrasn0w and wanna upgrade their iPhone 4 to iOS 5 to use custom ipsw to preserve the unlockable baseband, so that you will be able to use Gevey SIM or ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone 4.
Downgrade - Unlock 04.11.08 Baseband to 01.59.00 iPhone 4 - Any of hacker working on this ?

No, there's no one work on downgrading 4.11.08 to 1.59.00 baseband. So don't trust any of the scam sites that claiming the ability of desimlock 04.11.08 to 1.59.00 baseband.

Stuck on desimlock 04.11.08 baseband iPhone 4 - What can I do ?
Desimlock 04.11.08 is possible to Unlock 04.11.08
If you already stuck on 4.11.08 baseband on iPhone 4, you have to wait for updated version of ultrsn0w to support desimlock 04.11.08 baseband or modified version of Gevey SIM.

Ice Cream Sandwich: HTC Thunderbolt, Rhyme, Droid Incredible 2 and Raider

HTC is bringing some very good news to its fans, as the manufacturer has recently announced on its Facebook page that a new series of smartphones is eligible for an Ice Cream Sandwich update.

We’re talking about the HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Rhyme, Droid Incredible 2 and also the HTC Raider, devices that we weren’t sure that they will receive some official ICS love. And since HTC announced fairly recent that devices like HTC Vivid, Incredible S, Desire S and Desire HD will get updated to Android 4 we feared that the manufacturer’s slightly older single-core devices have been forgotten.
This is very good, especially for the HTC Thunderbolt, which had a hard time getting upgraded to Gingerbread and a lot of people were afraid that the HTC Thunderbolt Ice Cream Sandwich update would be a long way should history repeat itself. Fortunately, this is not the case anymore.

It’s also a cool thing that the HTC Raider Android 4 ICS upgrade was put on the list, as its Canadian owners were surely waiting for this good piece of news.

The HTC Thunderbolt Android 4 upgrade will take place later this year, along with the HTC Droid Incredible 2 and the above devices. We’ll be digging for more info.

Next month we’re expecting to see Ice Cream Sandwich rolling out to some of HTC’s international handsets (OG Sensation, HTC Sensation XE and XL) and we’ll also expect to hear more about further plans for getting ICS to other devices from HTC.
What do you guys think of this official confirmation that the HTC Thunderbolt Ice Cream Sandwich will be available later this year ? Do you happen to own a Thunderbolt, Rhyme or Droid Incredible 2 ? Share your thoughts.

First Official CM9 Nightlies Now Available For Galaxy Nexus GSM/CDMA, Nexus S GSM/CDMA, And Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi/LTE

Just under a week after receiving almost unprecedented support from the Android community to fund the purchase of new build servers, the CM team has begun pumping out CM9 nightlies for a handful of devices. There's no question - the CM team is moving quickly, and the release of so many nightlies in such a short time span is exciting, to say the least.

Koushik Dutta, in a Google+ post earlier this evening, expressed appreciation, confirming that CyanogenMod "was able to purchase 3 top of the line, ridiculously geared, build servers," which will soon have an automatic build schedule. Dutta also indicated that CM7 nightly builds will be up and running again soon.

Among the devices in the first round of CM9 nightlies are the Galaxy Nexus (both GSM and CDMA), Nexus S (GSM and CDMA), and Motorola Xoom (Wi-Fi and LTE). Dutta also explains that curious users can track build progress using the Jenkins Status page.
If you've been waiting (like all of us) to get your hands on CM9, and own one of the devices above, just hit the appropriate link and grab the download. Judging by the speed at which the team pushed out the first round of nightly builds though, the rest of us shouldn't have too long to wait.

Sony Ericsson Releases Official Alpha Build of Ice Cream Sandwich!

Remember way back when Sony Ericsson tried to convince us that their skinned version of Android 2.1 Éclair was better than Android 2.2 Froyo, and thus an upgrade to vanilla Froyo would actually be a downgrade? After that PR nightmare, we were all shocked when Android 2.3 Gingerbread was released for the X10 in a relatively timely manner.
On behalf of the Sony Ericsson development team, XDA forum member KalleD has unleashed an official alpha build of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for unlocked Xperia Arc S, Xperia Ray, and Xperia Neo V devices. With this release, Sony Ericsson has become the first non-Nexus smartphone OEM vendor to provide a legitimate (albeit alpha) Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Upgrade! What a long way we’ve come.
We just released a blogpost http://developer.sonyericsson.com/wp…xperia-phones/ announcing that we have made an ICS alpha ROM available for users with very good tech skills. This means that you should have an unlocked boot loader http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com, and have the knowledge to switch between different ROMs (read our blog post for further disclaimers ; ) ). Also, please note that the released SW is only applicable for Xperia™ arc S, Xperia™ neo V and Xperia™ ray. Xperia™ arc will not work, as it has different partition layouts.
Officially released ICS Alpha? This is almost too good to be true for us early adopters. Given that this is the first time Sony Ericsson has pulled a move like this, it is in everyone’s best interest to leave constructive feedback to ensure this soft of thing in the future. Hopefully other vendors can follow suit.
If you’re looking to get in on the action on your Xperia device, continue to the original thread! Again, VERY NICE WORK Sony Ericsson. This time, I am NOT disappoint!

Unlock iPhone 4S Baseband 1.0.11,1.0.13, And 1.0.14 With Gevey SIM Ultra S

And folks we have another unlock solution for your iPhone 4S and this is the easiest one ever. Applenberry has just released their Gevey SIM Ultra S unlocking solution for iPhone 4S. We’ve seen a lot of iPhone 4S related unlocks lately but the only problem with those unlocks was that they were not so easy to set up. We also posted a complete how to guide yesterday which used R-SIM another unlocking solution for iPhone 4S but the process was very lengthy. Gevey SIM has a history of high quality unlocking solutions. And that’s exactly what they’ve proved today, there unlocking solution by far is the best one available in market.

Gevey SIM Ultra S looks more like Rebel Alpha X SIM which also claims to unlock iPhone 4S. I’ve mentioned it before that the quality of interposer SIM unlocks matter a lot because they contain a chip and if the chip is substandard then it can heat up your iPhone 4S and it can malfunction but it happens rarely. Gevey SIM Ultra S has a lot of advantages but before going in advantage we’ll just tell you which basebands it supports and how you can use it.

Gevey SIM Ultra S supports following basebands:

  • 1.0.11
  • 1.0.13
  • 1.0.14
We love to write guides for you but there a little problem here today, there is NO process at all which requires a guide. Gevey SIM Ultra S unlock is refined and the most complete iPhone 4S unlock solution in market. And it works like magic, all you have to do is just put your own SIM card on top of Gevey SIM Ultra S and slide it inside your iPhone 4S wait for couple of seconds and you will see a success notification that your iPhone 4S has been unlocked. THAT’S IT! Nothing more nothing less.
Here’s a video of it:

 Pricing and Availability:
Gevey SIM Ultra S unlocking solution for iPhone 4S is not available officially on applenberry’s online as yet but you can pre-order it from here. It will cost you $54.99, we can assure you that these price WILL drop but those of you who just cannot wait to get their iPhone 4S can go ahead and order it.
Gevey SIM Ultra S carries one of the finest chip so don’t worry about the durability of the SIM. Now what are the advantages, well there are people who don’t like jailbreaking their iPhone 4S even if they have jailbreaked their iPhone 4S they can’t unlock it to use it on other carrier. Gevey SIM Ultra S does not rely on jailbreaking, so it doesn’t matter if you have a jailbreaked iPhone 4S or just a stock unmodified iPhone 4S you can unlock your iPhone 4S.
We will keep you updated on this, stay tuned!

Gevey SIM Unlock iPhone 4 On iOS 5.0.1 Baseband 4.11.08 Update news

This post is a part of our iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08 unlock weekly update series. There’s a lot to discuss today and I’ve been waiting from past one week to clear some air here. We told you guys that a hardware unlock is in making and our independent sources confirmed that Gevey and other interposer SIM makers are working on bringing an unlock solution for iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08. ApplenBerry who are official retailer of Gevey SIM later confirmed this new and updated again that they’re are indeed working on 4.11.08 unlock. Today Applenberry did what I was expecting them to do couple of days, they released iPhone 4S unlock for baseband 1.0.11, 1.0.13, and 1.0.14.

They had it, they had it from past one month but it was a game of “who releases it first”. Almost every iPhone 4S interposer SIM is out and they’re difficult to use Gevey SIM Ultra S on the other hand is the last offering and uses a different and more advanced approach to unlock iPhone 4S. So yeah Gevey Ultra S SIM is better and it’s out.

Gevey also announced that they’re looking for people who can review their unlock for iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08. Well it’s not that simple, the process is a little more complex then it sounds. What my sources have told me is that they’re still testing it “inside” no one else is using it or reviewing it right now. Again, they are internally testing it. That’s what people familiar with the situation told us. Adding more  to this our sources have also mentioned that Gevey unlock for 4.11.08 won’t be out before they release it, so if someone is claiming that they have 4.11.08 Gevey unlock then it’s probably not true.
A lot of people emailed me and also asked us in the comments and our Facebook page that; Are we testing Gevey SIM for 4.11.08. No, we don’t have a testing sample with us as yet. This is not how it works, ApplenBerry usually email details and they also publish it on their website. But let’s cut to the chase, when I asked someone from Gevey that how is it going with 4.11.08  he said “Its in good progress”. The progress is slow but positive.
Applenberry also mentioned about 4.11.08 in today’s release and said that:
iPhone 4 Baseband 4.11
We did not forget about you guys. We are still working on this and it looks promising.
The scams, how can I forget them they’re not stopping at all, a lot of people asked about some unlocking solutions which claimed that they can unlock 4.11.08 baseband. There’s a pastebin page where an extensive tutorial s given with some crack, believe you me it’s not going to work on your iPhone.
We will keep you updated on this, stay tuned!

Get the iOS ’86 theme on your iPhone now

The awesome iOS ’86 theme concept announced the last week . Well it’s now available in Cydia for your downloading pleasure.
Conceptualized by designer Anton Repponen, and created by an author named AR7, iOS ’86 gives your new school device, an old school feel. And here’s how you can install it on your jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch…

The theme isn’t available in the default repos, and doesn’t come with its own wallpaper.  follow this quick tutorial to make sure your iOS device is looking right.

Step 1. Open Cydia, and add http://repo.ithemes.it to your list of sources (you’ll notice that Cydia warns you that the repo has been reported for redistributing copyrighted works. iDB doesn’t normally recommend installing these kinds of repos, but this was the only place we could find the theme).
Step 2. Once the repo is installed, do a search in Cydia for ‘iOS 86′ and install it.
Step 3. Now you’ll need to activate the theme in Winterboard (If you don’t have it, you’ll need to install it), and re-spring your device.
Step 4. And finally, it’s not mandatory, but we recommend you download and apply this white wallpaper to complete the look. That’s all there is to it! It’s worth noting that the theme isn’t very extensive. It doesn’t seem to support many (if any) icons outside of the native set, and it doesn’t change the look of any other UI elements.
But we have to admit, it still looks good. Here’s hoping that its creator plans to add new icons and other elements in the future.
What do you think of iOS ’86? Noslgique peoples

iPhone 5 launch event

iPhone 5 is one of those products which become famous even before they start their journey on assembly conveyor belt. iPhone 5 was heavily discussed in 2011 because a lot of people were expecting an iPhone 5 not iPhone 4S. Like any other Apple product rumors regarding Apple’s 6th generation iPhone started soon after Apple launch its 5th generation iPhone – iPhone 4S in October last year. A Japanese blog Macotakara is now reporting that Apple is planning to unveil iPhone 5 in September-October time frame later this year. According to their “reliable source” Apple will continue to follow their new iPhone launch timeframe which they introduced with the launch of iPhone 4S in October last year.

Apple launched iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in June-July timeframe when Apple held their annual World Wide Developers Conference.  But last year Apple changed their launch plans and moved iPhone launch event from it’s usual June-July timeframe to a new October timeframe.
According to Asian reliable source, next iPhone will be released in September or October , and this cycle seems to be kept for years.

Macotakara’s report contradicts several previous report in which sources indicated that Apple may launch iPhone 5 in June-July at World Wide Developers Conference 2012. Official dates for WWDC 2012 have not been announced yet but according to leaked plan from last year Apple will host WWDC 2012 from June 11th to June 15th.

Multiple sources have already pointed toward a possible October iPhone 5 launch event and many Apple pundits including  Jim Dalrymple of The Loop who is well-connected with Apple have confirmed that Apple would unveil their 5th generation of iPhone in October later this year. iMore’s sources had some more information regarding Apple’s iPhone 5, they condoned all October iPhone 5 launch event reports and also mentioned that Apple would bring 4G LTE technology to iPhone 5 later this year.

What can you expect from iPhone 5?
Though it would be too early to comment of proper specification and features but you can expect a 4″ inch multi-touch screen, better cameras, faster processor and better graphics, more RAM and slimmer design. This is what I believe Apple should offer in iPhone 5, some reports have also claimed that Apple may introduce NFC technology in iPhone 5 but that highly unlikely.
